Travel Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

You will arrive at Hanoi International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in the beautiful city of Hanoi. After check-in, you will have time to rest and relax.
Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your city tour of Hanoi. As the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi is a perfect blend of ancient Asian traditions and European influences. Despite rapid modern development, the city has preserved much of its traditional identity.

Your first stop will be the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the founder of modern Vietnam, whom the Vietnamese people affectionately call “Uncle Ho.” You will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a grand historical monument built as his final resting place. Then you will stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens of the Presidential Palace and visit Uncle Ho’s humble stilt house, designed in traditional Vietnamese rural style, reflecting his simple and modest lifestyle.

Next, you will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049, made of wood on a single stone pillar and shaped like a lotus blossom, a symbol of purity. You will then continue to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on a small island in West Lake.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam. This impressive temple, built in the 11th century, is a rare and well-preserved example of traditional Vietnamese architecture and is featured on the back of the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.

A cyclo (rickshaw) ride is a wonderful way to experience Hanoi up close. Your local driver will take you through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, famously known as the “36 Streets of 36 Guilds,” whose names reflect the traditional trades once practiced there, such as Silk Street, Rice Street, Paper Street, Lacquer Street, and Jewelry Street. Explore the charming backstreets, practice your bargaining skills, and discover unique and unusual items that will remind you of this unforgettable afternoon.

Finally, you will end your day with a relaxing walk around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake (“Lake of the Returned Sword”), named after a legendary magical sword used by a revered Vietnamese hero to defeat the Chinese Ming dynasty.
Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh

This morning, you will travel from central Hanoi to Ninh Binh (approximately 2.5 hours). Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes of limestone karst mountains rising above valleys, some of which are submerged and surrounded by spectacular rocky formations.

Upon arrival, you will take a relaxing bicycle ride along flat countryside paths, passing through narrow village lanes lined with rice paddies, fruit gardens, and traditional rural cottages.

You will then visit Tam Coc, known as the “Ha Long Bay on Land.” The name means “Three Caves” in Vietnamese, formed by the Ngo Dong River flowing through the mountain. After lunch, you will continue cycling to Thung Nang Pier, where a skilled local rower will take you by small boat along a beautiful waterway surrounded by rice fields. You will explore caves among towering limestone mountains and enjoy the stunning scenery.

You will disembark and walk along a rural path to reach Thai Vi Temple, enjoying endless rice fields and mysterious caves along the way. Next, you will visit Bich Dong Pagoda, known as the “Second Most Beautiful Cave in Vietnam.” You will then climb Ngu Nhac Son (Buddha Palm Mountain) to enjoy a panoramic view of mountains, rivers, pagodas, and temples.

In the afternoon, you will return to Hanoi.
Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Cruise (Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, you will travel by vehicle to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (approximately 3.5 hours). No trip to Vietnam is complete without visiting this stunning bay, a harmonious blend of mountains and sea.

Ha Long Bay is located in the Gulf of Tonkin (Bac Bo) and covers an area of about 1,500 square kilometers, with nearly 3,000 lush green limestone islands rising from the emerald waters like jewels.

Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional junk boat cruise and enjoy the magnificent scenery while savoring a fresh seafood lunch on board. The cruise offers modern facilities for your comfort.

You will visit spectacular limestone caves filled with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Dinner will be served on board as you enjoy the magical reflection of limestone formations and the twinkling lights of fishing boats in the darkness.
You will experience the unforgettable beauty of one of the world’s most exciting natural wonders.
Overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang

You will enjoy breakfast on board the cruise. After taking in the final beautiful views of the bay, you will return to the harbor and transfer back to Hanoi.

From Hanoi, you will take a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you are free to relax.
Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 6: Da Nang – Hoi An City Tour

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hoi An, where you will join a guided walking tour around this charming ancient town. You will visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Hall, a traditional Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting local museums, and the bustling local market. There are many art galleries, souvenir shops, and tailor boutiques where you can have custom-made clothes prepared if you wish.

In the afternoon, you will gain a closer look at rural life in the outskirts of Hoi An. This wonderful experience includes a short transfer through beautiful villages, rice fields, local cemeteries, and sightings of water buffaloes. You will also explore the famous water coconut palm forests and enjoy a relaxing ride in a traditional bamboo basket boat along the coconut river.

In the evening, you will return to Da Nang.
Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 7: Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge Tour

Today, you will travel approximately 30 to 45 minutes from Da Nang city center to Ba Na Hills, a scenic mountainous area known for its panoramic views and cooler climate throughout the year.

At the Ba Na Hills cable car station, you will board one of the world’s most modern cable car systems and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Walking across the famous Golden Bridge, which appears to be held by two giant stone hands emerging from the mountains, you will experience the magical feeling of walking in the clouds.

You will then have free time at Ba Na Hills to enjoy additional activities such as visiting European-style villas, the French wine cellar (entrance ticket at your own expense), beautiful flower gardens, and peaceful pagodas.
Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 8: Flight from Da Nang to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you will have time to relax.
Overnight stay in Saigon.

Day 9: Saigon City Tour & Cu Chi Tunnels

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the main highlights of Ho Chi Minh City, a vibrant metropolis that has maintained a deep connection to its rich past despite rapid modern development.

You will also explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, where you will learn about their history, the underground life of Vietnamese soldiers, and the resilience and creativity of the Vietnamese people during the war.

In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum, which offers a vivid insight into the period of the American presence in Vietnam. You will then enjoy a short walk or drive to some of the city’s most iconic colonial landmarks, including the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

You will continue your exploration along the elegant Dong Khoi Street (formerly known as Rue Catinat), where you can browse a variety of shops and boutiques. Your day will conclude with a visit to the lively Ben Thanh Market, where you will have free time for shopping.

Discover Vietnam from north to south on a 10-Day Vietnam Adventure combining the cultural atmosphere of Hanoi, the spectacular scenery of Ha Long Bay, the beaches and attractions of Da Nang, and the energetic streets of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City).

This itinerary is designed for travellers who want to see more of Vietnam in one journey, with a mix of city exploration, natural landscapes, coastal experiences, local culture, and adventure.

Hanoi – Where Your Vietnam Adventure Begins

Start your Vietnam Adventure in Hanoi, a city where centuries-old traditions meet contemporary Vietnamese life.

Spend time exploring the Old Quarter, historic streets, local markets, traditional architecture, and some of the city’s most important cultural attractions. Hanoi is also a great place to discover Vietnamese cuisine, from street-food favourites to traditional local dishes.

The capital provides an atmospheric beginning to a journey that soon moves from the city into one of Vietnam’s most remarkable natural landscapes.

Ha Long Bay – A Journey on the Water

From Hanoi, continue to Ha Long Bay, where limestone islands rise dramatically from the sea.

A cruise gives you the chance to experience this extraordinary landscape at a slower pace. Depending on your selected cruise, your time on the bay may include kayaking, cave visits, onboard activities, dining, and opportunities to simply enjoy the scenery from the deck.

For many travellers, Ha Long Bay becomes one of the most memorable parts of their 10-Day Vietnam Adventure.

Da Nang – Vietnam’s Central Coast

The journey then moves south to Da Nang, a modern coastal city surrounded by beaches, mountains, and cultural attractions.

Da Nang is an excellent place to slow down after the northern part of the journey. You can enjoy its beaches, explore local attractions, discover the surrounding countryside, or use the city as a base for nearby destinations in central Vietnam.

Depending on your interests and available time, additional experiences can be arranged to make your stay more active, cultural, or relaxing.

Saigon – The Energy of Southern Vietnam

The final highlight of this 10-Day Vietnam Adventure is Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City.

The city has a completely different character from Hanoi. Its busy streets, historic buildings, markets, cafés, restaurants, and modern districts create an energetic atmosphere that reflects the fast-changing face of southern Vietnam.

Explore major landmarks, discover local food, visit historical attractions, or simply experience the rhythm of everyday life in one of Vietnam’s most vibrant cities.

One Journey, Four Different Experiences

What makes this 10-Day Vietnam Tour special is the contrast between its destinations.
