Travel Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

You will arrive at Hanoi International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in beautiful Hanoi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the country, whom the Vietnamese affectionately call “Uncle Ho.” The first stop will be Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, a majestic structure built as his final resting place. You can then stroll through the beautiful gardens of the Presidential Palace and visit Uncle Ho’s Stilt House, a simple home built in traditional Vietnamese rural style that reflects his modest, pure, and authentic lifestyle.

Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049. This stone pagoda is designed in the shape of a lotus flower, symbolizing purity, and its unique architecture makes it one of Hanoi’s most remarkable landmarks.

Afterward, explore Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, located on a small island in West Lake. This serene and spiritual site, with traditional architecture and Buddhist statues, is one of the city’s most important religious and cultural centers.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Built in the 11th century, this majestic temple is a rare example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture and is even featured on the 100,000 Vietnamese dong banknote.

A cyclo (rickshaw) ride is an excellent way to experience Hanoi up close. Your local driver will take you through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, known as the “36 Streets of 36 Trades.” The street names reflect businesses that have existed in the area since the 15th century, such as Silk Street, Rice Street, Paper Street, Lacquerware Street, and Jewelry Street.

Along the way, explore charming side streets, practice your bargaining skills, and browse unique items that will always remind you of this memorable afternoon.

End the day with a stroll around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake, named after a legendary magical sword used by Vietnam’s most revered heroes to defeat the Ming Dynasty.

Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Lunch + Dinner)

Transfers to and from the cruise are by group bus and the cruise ship itself.

After breakfast, depart for Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site (approximately 3.5 hours). No trip to Vietnam is complete without experiencing Ha Long Bay, a breathtaking blend of mountains and sea harmoniously intertwined.

The small Ha Long Bay is located in Bai Bo Bay and covers an area of 1,500 km², with 3,000 green islands that sparkle like jewels.

Upon arrival at the harbor, board a traditional Chinese-style cruise and enjoy the majestic scenery of Ha Long Bay while having a fresh seafood lunch on board. The cruise ship offers a wide range of modern amenities.

Visit the amazing caves in Ha Long Bay, adorned with stalactites. Dinner is served on the cruise while you admire the limestone formations emerging from the water and the scenes of fishing boats glowing in the twilight. Enjoy these precious moments in one of the world’s most spectacular natural landscapes. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang

Enjoy breakfast on the cruise while taking in the beauty of the bay. Afterward, return to Ha Long Harbor and transfer to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport, and you can check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 5: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills & Golden Bridge

Today, enjoy a 30–45 minute drive from Da Nang city center to Ba Na Hills, a scenic mountainous area offering panoramic views. The temperature here remains cool throughout the year.

At the Ba Na Hills cable car station, board a modern cable car system and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery. Walk along the Golden Bridge, appearing to be held up by a pair of gigantic hands emerging from the mountains, giving you the sensation of walking among the clouds.

You will have free time in Ba Na Hills to explore additional attractions, such as European-style villas, the French Wine Cellar, flower gardens, and pagodas. (Entrance to the French Wine Cellar is at the traveler’s own expense.)

Return to Da Nang for overnight stay.

Day 6: Da Nang – Hoi An Walking Tour

Today, enjoy a walking tour around the ancient town of Hoi An, known for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-friendly streets, and local cuisine. During this relaxed walking tour, you will see historical merchant houses, ancient pagodas, and traditional places of worship influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese architecture.

Stop at the iconic 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, then continue to the Chinese quarter across the water. Visit a tailor’s shop where you can have custom clothing made.

Overnight stay in Da Nang.
