The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. It is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope – mostly wildebeest – migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience and a wonderful photographic subject. Here visitors to the park can roam its sprawling plains on exhilarating game drives or hop into a hot-air balloon ride for an once-in-a-lifetime wilderness adventure.

Some maintain that before it erupted, it would have been higher than Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 metre deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Fresh springs and a large soda lake quench the thirst of all the inhabitants. Black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned

lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes.

Herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in

Complete Travel Guide to Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Tour:

Unlock Exclusive Agency Rates via WhatsApp

A Tanzania safari & Zanzibar tour will be one of the most extraordinary experiences of your life if you are interested in nature, wildlife, and adventure. However, it is essential to properly brief your tourists and passengers before they make a purchase.

1- The hotels included in the package, except for the city hotels, are mostly eco-lodges, which are generally not officially rated within the 1 to 5-star classification system. These accommodations are categorized into three main classes: Economy Class, Mid-Range Class, and Luxury Class.

In the Economy Class, the lodges are generally comparable to 1- to 2-star standards and are not approved in terms of quality by our executive team. Due to the distance of these accommodations from urban centers and city facilities, proper service delivery, hygiene standards, basic necessities, and adherence to technical hospitality requirements are extremely important. However, in this hotel category, we generally observe weaknesses in these areas.

In the Mid-Range Class, we offer hotels equivalent to 3- and 4-star standards based on Tanzanian benchmarks. Please note that I say “equivalent to 3- and 4-star” because in reality these hotels are not officially assigned star ratings. These hotels meet the minimum accommodation standards. They may not always be located in the best locations, but they offer reasonable pricing.

In the Luxury Class, we work with high-quality 4- and 5-star hotels that offer excellent locations, sufficient food variety, high accommodation standards, and good additional and recreational facilities. Therefore, if you are looking for comfortable and high-quality accommodation, we recommend choosing hotels in this price category.

2- In eco-lodges, meal plans do not include beverages. Please inform your passengers that any drinks ordered at these accommodations will be charged separately by the lodge and must be paid directly by the guest.

3- Participation in Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar package is generally not recommended for travelers under 6 years old or over 70 years old. Please make sure your passengers understand that they are not visiting a zoo or a photography studio. During wildlife tours, you are entering the natural habitat of wild animals, and carefully following the instructions provided at the end of this package is very important and essential.

4- Highly experienced and professional guides—among the best in Tanzania—will be assigned to you. However, the chance of seeing all animals depends on your luck and on how well you follow the important guidelines attached to this package.

5- Overall, the hotels have received very high satisfaction ratings regarding hygiene from our previous travelers. However, for passengers who are particularly sensitive about cleanliness, we recommend bringing sufficient disposable pillowcases and bed sheets for personal use.

6- We have prepared a guide titled “How to Pack Your Suitcase for a Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Tour.” We strongly recommend that you provide this article to your passengers before departure so they can read it carefully.

7- The hotels listed in the Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar package will be reserved for you if availability allows. If they are fully booked for your travel dates, similar hotels of the same category will be suggested for your review and presentation to your passengers. Once your passenger confirms, the selected hotel will be reserved. Therefore, we kindly request that after your passengers decide to purchase the tour, you first obtain hotel confirmation before issuing flight tickets. While waiting for hotel confirmation, you may keep your flight reservation on temporary hold.

An Unforgettable Experience with a Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Island

Tanzania is one of the most extraordinary travel destinations in Africa — a land where vast wildlife plains, dramatic volcanic landscapes, Serengeti safari tour, towering mountains, authentic tribal cultures, and idyllic Indian Ocean beaches come together in one unforgettable journey.

About Mount Kilimanjaro:

  • Highest mountain in Africa (5,895 meters)

  • Multiple trekking routes of varying difficulty

Even if you do not plan to summit, visiting coffee plantations, waterfalls, and Kilimanjaro’s lower slopes adds a unique dimension to your Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Island.
